GudMoment ("the App") is a moment tracking application for iOS and Android developed by Garry Priambudi. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how the App handles your data.
All moments, reminders, widget configurations, and preferences are stored locally on your device using SQLite. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.
GudMoment does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:
GudMoment requests camera access solely for scanning QR codes to import shared moments. The camera is used only when you explicitly open the QR scanner. No photos or videos are captured, stored, or transmitted. No camera data leaves your device.
GudMoment may request permission to send local notifications for anniversary reminders. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.
When you share a moment via QR code, the moment data (title, date, time, emoji, and color) is encoded directly into the QR code. Sharing is peer-to-peer — no data passes through any server. The recipient scans the QR code directly from your device.
You can export your moments as a JSON file for backup purposes. Exports are saved to a location you choose on your device. No data is uploaded or shared during the export process.
Since GudMoment does not collect any data, the App is safe for users of all ages. No special provisions are necessary for children's privacy as no information is gathered from any user.
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
